The Golden Globes

At the Golden Globes, Angelina Jolie stepped out in a gorgeous Versace gown and a fresh face. Although some of you say you'd like to see Angelina change her look from time to time, all of us would most likely agree that she doesn't really have a reason to do so — she always looks gorgeous on the red carpet.

Makeup artist Mary Burton, working with Lancôme, created Angelina's look for the Golden Globes. I recreated the look on Belle Daza, skipping the liner so that you can create the liner look you want (or to what you are used to):

  • Face: Apply foundation and concealer. Spot conceal only on areas where necessary. Then, use your fingers to dab Lancôme Color Design Blush in Model Mocha on the apples of your cheeks.
  • Eyes: Use a pen eyeliner such as Lancome's Artliner in Noir to define the lash line. Draw a line on your lashlines, the shape that you are used to already. Start at the inner corner of the eye, staying close to the lashes, and blend outward. (If you've never used a pen eyeliner, keep the line straight by drawing a series of dots, then connecting them.) Line the outer corner of the lower lash line, too, gently smudging it. Burton used two mascaras on Angelina. But on Belle, I used just L'Extreme Mascara and a single coat application. Belle has such gorgeous lashes too.
  • Lips: Angelina's famous lips took center stage with a pale pink, sheer gloss. Burton used Lancome Juicy Tubes in Spring Fling. This is what I used on Belle as well.
